MARGARITA + SUJAY // highlights

The world got a little bit smaller earlier this year. Did you feel it? It happened when Margarita, a beautiful Armenian woman, married Sujay, a handsome Indian man in, not one, but two ceremonies … to honor both bride and groom’s rich and colorful cultures. What a beautiful, busy, colorful, love-filled day it was.

KIM + JEFF // highlights

I can’t tell you how much I love the toast given by one of the groomsmen at Kim & Jeff’s wedding. Truth be told, all the toasts given that evening at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu were genuine and heartfelt but it was this one particular toast that can be used to describe the magic of a real love story. It’s almost like winning the lottery. You’ll see what I mean once you watch the video.

So, without further ado, here is the wedding story of a girl from Massachusetts and a boy from Illinois.

P.S. Did I forget to mention that the second song in this highlights film was created by the beautiful bride herself? Very fun stuff. Check out the rest of her music at kimdivine.com. Other music for the highlights licensed through The Music Bed themusicbed.com.

ELMA + TETS | highlights

Once upon a time there was a lovely bride.

Her name was Elma.

She had a pretty smile.

Her groom’s name was Tetsuya … Tets, for short.

He had an even bigger smile.

Their wedding took place at a grand location called the Park Plaza.

When Elma walked down the long staircase towards her groom, everyone swooned.

Watch their highlights.

I hope you swoon too.

MEGAN + NIR | same-day edit

It happens a lot after a wedding … sore muscles and achy feet. I like to call it a wedding hangover … without the alcohol, of course.  Something else that happens, and it was definitely the case in this instance, is a feeling of gratitude. Megan and Nir and their families were an absolute joy to work with. There was no need to ask anyone to turn their frown upside down with this group. There was joy everywhere.  Another reason to feel grateful is the wonderful people I got to work with behind the camera. A talented group, no doubt. From the coordination to the design to the music to, well, everything … it was all splendid! Take a look for yourself. It was quite an event.

To Megan and Nir, congratulations!

To everyone behind-the-scenes, thank you!

A very special thanks to the talented Loyd Calomay and Chloe Weaver for their shooting and editing magic. I couldn’t have done it without you!

VIVI + ROBBIE || highlights

Vivi is a force to be reckoned with. One would know better than to get in her way. Maybe the wise thing to do is hold on and enjoy the ride. That’s what I did. When I first met them, I would have said Robbie might be doing just that … but it wouldn’t be true. Robbie is a force unto himself. Together Vivi and Robert are going to do great things … side by side. Ya just feel it.
